Prof Ram Dhillon
Professor Ram Dhillon qualified from Middlesex Hospital Medical School, London University (now University College London) in 1978 and was appointment Consultant ENT Surgeon in 1988, to Northwick Park Hospital, London.
His clinical interests have been the development of endoscopic sinus surgery for nasal disorders besides the general range of ear Nose and Throat disorders. Latterly, his major clinical interest has focused Obstructive Sleep Apnoea.
He is also very interested in Postgraduate Medical Education and developed several programmes with Rila Institute of Health Sciences, in collaboration initially with Middlesex University but over the last 2 years with Plymouth University School of Medicine and Dentistry.
He has supported a children’s charity in Pune, India, the Mukul Madhav Foundation and was a trustee of the British Cardiac Research Trust (BCRT) for a number of years, becoming Chairman in 2016. Supporting the activities of the BCRT has now become a key element in Professor Dhillon’s life.

Lord Karan Bilimoria
Lord Karan Bilimoria is the founder of Cobra Beer, Chairman of the Cobra Beer Partnership Limited, a Joint Venture with Molson Coors, and Chairman of Molson Coors Cobra India. In the Monde Selection, one of the most prestigious quality awards in the world for beer, the Cobra range have collectively been awarded a total of 101 Gold medals since 2001, making it one of the most awarded beers in the world.
Lord Bilimoria is the Founding Chairman of the UK India Business Council, a Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London, a former Chancellor of Thames Valley University (now the University of West London); he was the youngest University Chancellor in the UK when appointed. Karan was the Senior Independent Director of the Booker Group PLC (2007-2016); he is one of the first two visiting entrepreneurs at the University of Cambridge; he was a founding member of the Prime Minister of India’s Global Advisory Council. In 2006, Karan Bilimoria was appointed the Lord Bilimoria of Chelsea, making him the first ever Zoroastrian Parsi to sit in the House of Lords. In 2008 he was awarded the Pravasi Bharti Samman by the President of India. He is an Honorary Fellow of Sidney Sussex College Cambridge and Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Judge Business School, Cambridge University. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young and graduated in law from the University of Cambridge. He is also an alumnus through executive education of the Cranfield School of Management, the London Business School and the Harvard Business School. In July 2014, he was installed as the seventh Chancellor of the University of Birmingham, making him the first Indian-born Chancellor of a Russell Group University in Great Britain, and he is the President of the UK Council for International Students Affairs (UKCISA). Lord Bilimoria is the Bynum Tudor Fellow at Kellogg College, University of Oxford, for the 2017-18 academic year.
Hester Larkin joined the pharmaceutical industry as a graduate with DuPont Pharmaceuticals in N. Ireland. In her 19 years with DuPont she held several roles ranging from commercial, strategic marketing & Business development in the UK & Europe. She was Managing Director of Benelux for the Medical Imaging business and then was appointed as the first non American female Managing Director of Dupont Pharmaceuticals in her mid 30’s.
During her career Hester was involved in the launch of the first cardiac diagnostic imaging agent in Europe: Cardiolite.
Cardiolite® is a technetium-labeled single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI) agent used for identifying and managing patients with known or suspected coronary artery disease (CAD)
Hester went on to be the European Managing Director for BMS Imaging, focusing on Nuclear cardiology and Nuclear Neurology.
Hester became a Trustee of the BCRT in 2008 & is passionate regarding the innovative cardiac research focusing on DIABETIES & ARTHEROSCLEROSIS
Hester is the Managing Director and founder of Hester Larkin Associates focusing in diagnostic Imaging in Europe.
Hester has a science & legal background.She was Chair of the Nuclear Medicine Awareness Working Group , AIPES Brussels from 2010-2017. She sits on several boards and is a Trustee of several charities.
Roger Harrison was a journalist and executive Times Newspapers, chief executive of The Observer and a director of a number of public and private companies in the United kingdom and the United States. He was also chairman of Toynbee Hall and of the Royal Academy of Dance and other charities and is currently a board member of Washington based Ashoka, Innovators for the Public.
